Oroville's Great Feather River Mosaic Mural Project is being spearheaded by the Rainforest Art Project, a San Diego-based community public art works nonprofit company with a satellite studio in Chico. The Mural Project is being executed by local professional artists, volunteers and school children. When complete in 2025, the mural will include 60 separate panels made from thousands of pieces of tile and spanning a 600-foot wall on the west side of Table Mountain Boulevard between the fish hatchery entrance and Riverview Terrace. Teams from local schools are invited to create panels for the mural project.
